Enjoy Jeonju

In celebration of 2012 Jeollabuk Visit Year, here’s a brief introduction about Jeonju where tradition is alive. The first thing is Jeonju bibimbap when we think about Jeonju. It's famous because of good quality of agricultural products, flavor of sources and devotion to food. Bibimbap is the food mixing various vegetables in rice, but in Jeonju, bean sprouts and seasoned raw meat are added. That's a big difference with other bibimbap and also makes it more delicious. This is must eat item when you visit Jeonju. Onother thing famous in Jeonju is Hanok Village. Hanok is traditional Korean-style house. It is one of the must visit places in Jeonju. Hanok was built to resist the Japanese people. As the place was getting bigger, it was designated as a Hanok conservation area in 1977. You can see many houses built in the Joseon Dynasty and experience traditional culture such as traditional wedding and making traditional food. It is recommended to take your time to look around the place and enjoy this area away from your busy life.
